2025 Community-Based Child Welfare National Symposium

  • 10/6-8/2025
  • 7:30AM-6PM
  • St. Petersburg, FL, USA

A National Discussion on Best Practices and Lessons Learned

Now in its 7th year, this annual gathering of child welfare leaders working to advance community-based child welfare has proven to spark substantive discussion and valuable interactions between experienced executives, industry thought leaders and those just getting started. Join leaders in community-based child welfare from across the nation to share insights, explore innovations, and shape the future of child and family services. This gathering of professionals offers a unique opportunity to collaborate, learn, and drive positive change in our field.

Event Vision

Community-Based Care (CBC) models have proven more effective in addressing the needs of children and families. While we understand our local landscapes, this symposium bridges the knowledge gap between states, showcasing what's working, emerging trends, and evolving models. Together, we'll explore best practices, share challenges, and discover innovative solutions to advance community-based child welfare nationwide.

Please Note: CBCW National Symposium is not an FFTA event. The event host is The National Center for Community-Based Child Welfare. FFTA serves as the event management partner.
